This story not only was fun to read with little Greece inspirations noted throughout, it was also hard hitting but completed sensitively which I appreciated. I was a little nervous going into Only Mostly Devastated, I am not an avid contemporary reader, however I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this and flew through it. Trigger Warnings: Family member with terminal cancer, homophobia, grief and fat phobia With a family emergency complicating Ollie’s life, he is uprooted and enrolled at a new school across the country, where he finds the sweet, affectionate guy he knew from summer isn’t the same one attending Collinswood High. Once summer has ended Will stops returning Ollie’s texts and Ollie’s fairytale ending comes crashing down. Only Mostly Devastated follows Ollie, who over summer break he meets his dream guy Will. All my thoughts and comments are entirely my own. I received a free copy of this book from Hachette Australia in exchange for an honest review.
